Here's what you need to know to open a business account.
Business Membership Qualifications
To qualify, your business must be located in the Community Charter area or 51% of the business owners must be eligible for membership. Opening a regular share account is required for members
* Non-Profit Organizations will need to be in the Community Charter to be eligible for a business account.
Documents Required for All Business Accounts
All Business Accounts must be opened with the proper documentation.

- BCU Business Account Paperwork - DBA Sole Proprietor
- BCU Business Account Paperwork For Profit
Documents Required for Some Business Accounts
Depending on your type of business, additional documentation is required.
Sole Proprietor/DBA (Doing Business As)
- Social Security number (SSN) of owner OR Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) of business
- Copy of filed Assumed Name Certificate (Trade Name Affidavit) or Business License
Partnership or Limited Partnership
- IRS Tax ID Letter or first page of business tax return
- Copy of Partnership Agreement
- Copy of Business License
Corporation or Professional Corporation
- IRS Tax ID Letter or first page of business tax return
- Copy of Articles of Incorporation
- Copy of By Laws (if applicable)
Limited Liability Company/Partnership (LLC) (LPA) (LLP) (LLLP)
- IRS Tax ID Letter or first page of business tax return
- Copy of Articles of Organization/Partnership
- Copy of Operating Agreement (if applicable)
Non-Profit Association or Club
- IRS Tax ID Letter or first page of business tax return
- Copy of Articles of Organization and any Resolutions
- By-Laws or Meeting minutes stating the individuals or positions authorized to establish or conduct business on behalf of the club or organization, signed by the president or officers of the organization.
